Andrew Scheer wants Quebecers to believe that he is an “ally” of the Quebec nation. But despite his fine words, one quickly realizes that he is the very opposite. On the issues of the environment, LGBTQ2 rights, women’s rights and firearms, Scheer’s plan is clear: he wants to take Quebec and Canada backwards.

Andrew Scheer’s Conservatives are constantly questioning the very notion of climate change. If it were only for Andrew Scheer, there would be no pollution pricing, no ban on single-use plastics, no plan to fight climate change.

Andrew Scheer has never withdrawn his shameful comments comparing same-sex marriage to a dog’s tail. He never bothered to apologize either. In 2019, Andrew Scheer still refuses to rule out the possibility that one of his own MPs could introduce a bill to restrict access to abortion. In fact, he and his candidates actively court anti-choice voters.

Quebecers know too well the pain and suffering that firearms can cause when firearms regulations are too weak. And yet, Andrew Scheer is in the pocket of gun lobbyists and wants to legalize dangerous firearms.
